Spring Break = New times available!

Extra Dates in April just opened up!

Having trouble with school, work, chores, activities and sports getting a session with JMChance Photography Studio? Guess what, there are 3 new dates open for as many sessions as we can cram into to help you capture those special memories before they slip away.

The new dates are Friday April 3rd, Tuesday April 7th and Wednesday April 8th. Sessions begin at 9am and can run as late as 7pm. That may sound like a whole lot of time, but it will go fast!

Contact the studio now to reserve the date and time best for you.

If these dates don't work, there are still a limited quantity of weekend sessions available too!

Swingin' into Spring! Limited Edition Session


I am trying to patiently waiting for my new prop ... a wooden swing with flower vine ropes! It will go great with my faux grass, faux bunnies, baskets and spring flowers!


Once the custom swing is complete, I will select a few Kiddos (2-8 years old) to be in my promo portraits. This will be great for girls or boys (we can take the flower vines off!). Easter Sunday best clothes or just white tee & overalls/jeans are just perfect.


Since this is a seasonal prop, the swing will only be used between March 15th and April 15th. There are a limited number of sessions (6 regular sessions & 6 mini sessions) in the month's time.


I will also be opening up a mini session Saturday. I love offering mini sessions! I get to see a bigger majority of my clients and the back to back sessions are so much fun! You get reduced session fee of just $25 for the 30 minute mini session (no prints). This will allow for 10-15 images. Special Mini Session print packages will also offered. Speciality items like canvas wraps, purses, and the like are available at regular prices. The date will be announced later next week!


So if you have been putting off booking your session, don't miss out this CHANCE to celebrate Spring (yes even in Michigan)! There is no guarantee the swing will come back out this year.

Who photographs the Photographer?



The Weekend trip was great! Hubby got to see into the Photography world a bit more. I found all kinds of new goodies and exciting new products. Once I hear back from all the vendors, I will post the new items offered! I am so excited for the new items ... but we gotta wait a bit :(

The other part of the mission to the Ohio trip this weekend was for a new portrait of my Hubby and I. Let me tell you ... It was worth the trip!



My friend Kelly Cook of KCook Photography in Conover, Ohio truely showed off her Master Photographer skills! She sent me the 'sneaks' to our mini session ... and they are amazing! Above is one of the sneaks.



So the answer to the question ' who photographs the Photographer?' is great friends in the trade :) Thanks Kellly!


In turn, I got some new images of Kelly and her hubby! Here is her 'Sneak Strip'.

Have Camera, Will Travel

I am not a person who sits still for very long ... I am venturing to Ohio to meet up with a fellow Photographer to find the coolest new items to offer! it will be like a candy shop with only the best of everything. I am very excited to be making the trip with my business parter, my hubby!

The Studio will be closed and I will be unavailable the weekend of March 7th & 8th. Please feel free to leave a message and I will get with you to schedule your session or proffing appointment upon our return.

As the Clock Ticks...



My how time flies by ... my 'newborn' model will be turning one year old soon. It has been a great year and I was very excited to be Mr. Z's 'official' photographer for all those special memories. Since we are related (wink wink), I will still be the Photographer for Mr. M & Mr. Z.

But it is now time for me to find a new Featured Face ~ Newborn for the next 12 months. I am looking for new wrinkly babies or soon to be born babies! (of course I could find a Featured Face ~ Maternity too:)) The new Featured Face will be selected on or before March 27th.
